India's Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rain alert covering multiple states across the country, warning of intense rainfall and strong winds expected on Saturday, September 26. Twenty-one states are forecast to receive rain, ranging from Sikkim in the northeast to Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh in the central region.
