Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkiye Sign New Defence Pact

Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkiye have signed a new defence pact, an agreement to support each other on military and security matters.

Defence analyst Alex Alfirraz Scheers said the agreement signals a realignment, meaning a change in how countries choose to work together.

For decades, the United States has played a leading role in the security of the Middle East and South Asia, acting as a key ally to many governments in the region.
