French Left Party Unveils Budget Plan Ahead of 2027 Election

A French political party called LFI has a new plan. LFI means 'France Unbowed'. The party wants to win the election in 2027.
LFI made a budget plan. A budget plan shows how a government gets and spends money. LFI says its plan will bring 106 billion euros of new money.
Most of this money will come from new taxes. Taxes are money people and companies pay to the government. LFI wants 100 billion euros from new taxes.
LFI also wants a big plan to help the economy grow. This is called a recovery plan. The party wants to spend a lot of money on this plan.
One LFI politician is named Éric Coquerel. He said most parts of the economy have problems. But he said one part is doing very well: dividends. Dividends are money that companies pay to their owners.
Coquerel wants to take money from this area to help the economy. He wants to move money from rich companies to help everyone.
This plan is different from the old government's plan. The old president was Emmanuel Macron. LFI wants a new way of doing things.
