Police in France worry about their jobs during the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics

The police want childcare and a €2,000 ($2,174.00) bonus. If the police don’t get childcare and a bonus, they will make problems at the airports in France.

The police will block airports and work slowly. Passport checks for visitors will take very long.

Already, some police stopped working. They want everyone to know about their wishes for working during the Olympics.

The Olympics are from July 26 to August 11, during France’s summer holiday. There are not enough police, hospital workers and drivers for trains and buses.

About 30,000 police and soldiers will work on July 26 for the opening ceremony. It is outside next to the Seine River in Paris. There will be about 500,000 people on the first day.
