China's AI Stock Bubble Has Burst, Report Says

A report says China's AI stock boom is over. AI means artificial intelligence, or smart computer programs. Many investors bought AI company shares. They hoped prices would keep rising fast. Now the report says this bubble has already burst. A bubble means prices rise too fast, then fall suddenly.
Chinese equities may now face a long downturn. Equities means company shares that people buy and sell. A downturn means prices keep falling for a while. The report says this downturn could last a long time.
One reason is earnings forecasts are falling. Earnings forecasts means guesses about how much money a company will make. When these guesses drop, investors worry. They think companies will make less money than before.
At the same time, special funds called the National Team are buying more shares. People use this name for Chinese state-linked funds that buy stocks to help the market. These funds just had their biggest inflows since the trade war. Inflows means money coming into something, like a fund.
This means the government may be trying to support stock prices. The trade war was a big fight over trade rules between China and other countries. It caused problems for markets before.
