China wants a big meeting about peace for Israel and Palestine. China thinks the world should focus more on the Middle East.
China says all countries should decide the date and place of the meeting together. They want the United Nations to help too.
Last year, a group called Houthis started attacking ships. The Houthis say they do this to help Palestine and Hamas. The US and UK attacked the Houthis last week.
Because of the Houthi’s attacks, ships are slower. This makes things like food cost more.
This also makes problems near the Suez Canal, where China has put a lot of money.
China usually stays away from fights and wants to fix this problem with talks.
China’s President, Xi Jinping, talked seriously with Saudi Arabia and Iran’s leaders. He wants them to forget old problems and work together.
