Kim Keon Hee, the wife of South Korea’s President, is in trouble. A video shows a pastor give her an expensive Dior bag. This is a problem for her husband, President Yoon Suk Yeol.
The pastor secretly recorded the video. In the video, he buys the Dior bag and then visits Kim’s company.
In the video, we don’t see Ms. Kim take the bag. But, the president’s team says they have the bag. The government will keep the bag.
Many people are not happy with the president and his wife. They want him to explain what happened.
In South Korea, it’s illegal for government workers and their husbands or wives to get expensive gifts.
Ms. Kim had other problems, too. People think she did bad things in business and with money.
The government wanted to check Ms. Kim, but her husband stopped it.
