It was a great year for the movie “Oppenheimer” at the Academy Awards. It won seven Oscars

The lead actor in “Oppenheimer”, Cillian Murphy, got best actor. It was his first Oscar. Christopher Nolan won best director. It was also his first Oscar.

Emma Stone got best actress for the movie “Poor Things”. It was her second Oscar. The movie also won other awards.

“The Zone of Interest” won best international film. It was the first British movie to win in that category. It also won an award for sound.

“Barbie” won an Oscar for best song. It was sung by Billie Eilish. At the Academy Awards, Ryan Gosling sang “I’m Just Ken” from the “Barbie” movie.

“Twenty Days in Mauripol” won best documentary. It was the first Oscar for a movie from Ukraine.

Japanese movies did well too. “The Boy and the Heron” won best animated movie. “Godzilla Minus One” won best visual effects.
