Judge Removed After Drinking Wine and Smoking During Court Session

A judge in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais has been suspended from his duties after being seen drinking wine and smoking during an official court session, according to reports from the Tribunal de Justiça de Minas Gerais (TJMG).

The decision to remove him was made by the Corregedoria-Geral de Justiça, the internal disciplinary body responsible for overseeing judicial conduct within the state's court system.
