The match forms part of the knockout stage of the tournament, in which clubs compete through a series of playoffs to determine who will advance to the final.
Ahead of the game, Santa Cruz player Cristian addressed the media, emphasising that the team's main priority is to stay focused on the task at hand rather than getting distracted by the stakes involved.
He described the opportunity to reach the Série C final as 'very important' for the club, underlining how significant this stage of the competition is for Santa Cruz.
Interest in the fixture has centred on several practical details that fans typically seek before a major match.
These include the confirmed lineup for both sides, revealing which players have been selected to start, as well as the precise kick-off time for the encounter.
