UFC Legend Announces Comeback for 2027
Listen to the story
A well-known UFC fighter has announced that he plans to return to competition in 2027. The UFC is a major organisation for mixed martial arts, a sport where fighters compete in a cage. This fighter is considered a legend of the sport, meaning many fans remember his achievements with great respect. He had previously stepped away from fighting, but he now says he wants to come back for another run.
The announcement came around the same time as a big UFC event called UFC 333. The main fight on this card features Alexander Volkanovski, a top fighter in the featherweight division, against an opponent named Evloev. The featherweight division is one of the lighter weight classes in the UFC.
Volkanovski is reportedly close to reaching a special record in his division. A record like this means he could achieve something that no other featherweight fighter has done before, which some are calling a step toward immortality in the sport. Immortality here means being remembered forever as one of the greatest. If he wins this fight, his name could be written into UFC history.
This news has created excitement among fans, who are now watching two big stories unfold together: a legend's planned comeback, and a current champion chasing history. Both stories show how UFC continues to attract attention with dramatic announcements and high-stakes matches. Fans will have to wait and see how both situations develop in the coming months and years.
