The British Army’s Twitter & YouTube Accounts Hacked

On Sunday, the British Army’s Twitter and YouTube accounts were hacked. The hackers posted about cryptocurrencies and NFTs (non-fungible tokens). The British Army fixed the problem quickly.

A post from the British Army on their Twitter account apologized for the situation and said that they will investigate what happened. Before that, the account retweeted posts about NFTs.

The British Army also repaired their YouTube account which was temporarily renamed to ‘Ark Invest’. While the account was renamed, it posted videos related to cryptocurrencies.

The British Army Twitter account has 362,000 followers and its YouTube account has 177,000 followers.

Ark Invest is the name of a large financial company. The company did not respond to questions about the situation.
