Flamengo Names Squad for Grêmio Match, Saúl and Valencia Return
Listen to the story
Flamengo, one of Brazil's biggest football clubs, has released its official squad list for the upcoming match against Grêmio.
The game is part of the Brasileirão, Brazil's top professional football league.
The most notable news from the announcement is the return of two players, Saúl and Valencia, who are back in the squad after being absent.
Fans have been eager to know if these two important players would be available for the match.
Their return could give Flamengo more options and strength on the field.
Details about where fans can watch the match live, the kick-off time, and the starting lineup are expected to be released closer to the game.
Sports journalist Mauro Cezar has also commented on the match, suggesting that Grêmio has increased the pressure on Flamengo.
According to Cezar, this is because Flamengo will not be playing at full strength, meaning not all of its best players will be on the field.
This situation adds extra responsibility for the team that does take part in the match.
Flamengo supporters are following the news closely, as every match in the Brasileirão is important for the team's position in the league table.
The return of Saúl and Valencia is seen as positive news, even though the full squad will not be available.
