Film-maker Shares Close Access to Blackpink's Lisa During Scandal

Documentary film-maker Sue Kim has spoken about an unusual experience she had while filming Blackpink star Lisa Manobal.

Lisa is a member of Blackpink, one of the most famous K-pop groups in the world.

Kim had unprecedented access to Lisa, meaning she was allowed closer than most people ever get to a global star.

This access happened at a very difficult moment, when a race scandal involving Lisa was growing in the public eye.

A scandal like this can quickly damage a celebrity's public image and cause intense media attention.

Kim describes seeing Lisa at her most candid, meaning open and honest, rather than performing for cameras.

Being inside the room during such a sensitive moment gave Kim a rare and personal view of the idol's reaction.

Film-makers rarely get this kind of trust from major stars, especially during controversies.

Kim's comments suggest the documentary shows a side of Lisa that fans do not usually see.

The story highlights how celebrity culture can create intense pressure when scandals appear online.

Details about the scandal itself were not fully explained, but its effect on Lisa clearly mattered to those around her.

Kim's account gives insight into how stars cope when controversy suddenly erupts around them.
