Bambu Lab Teases New Tool-Changer 3D Printer

Bambu Lab, a popular maker of 3D printers, is preparing to reveal a new machine called the H3C. The company has announced that a teaser video will premiere on the website VoxelMatters on October 23.

The H3C appears to be a tool changer printer, a type of machine that can automatically switch between different tools while printing. According to early information, the H3C will feature nine tools and a special drop-down rack to hold them.

Bambu Lab is expected to officially launch the H3C on November 3. This date has not been confirmed by the company itself, but it matches details that have appeared online.

Interestingly, the brand's own online store briefly showed a banner mentioning the tool changer, along with a reference to November 2026. It is unclear whether this date refers to a future update, a different product, or simply an error. The banner was removed soon after it appeared.

Tool changer printers are seen as useful because they can print with multiple materials or colours without the user needing to manually swap parts. If the H3C performs well, it could become an important addition to Bambu Lab's lineup of 3D printing machines.
