Two trains had a crash in Italy. It happened near Florence. The place is between Pontassieve and Sant'Ellero. One train was a regional train. It carries people to work or school. The other train was a freight train. It carries goods, not people. The two trains hit each other on the Florence-Rome line. Nobody was hurt. This is good news.
The crash made one train go off the tracks. This is called a derailment. Because of this, many other trains stopped. There was big disruption on the train lines. People could not travel easily. The Aretina line also had problems. Train traffic was very bad for many hours.
Local leaders talked about the crash. Giani and Boni are two important people in the area. They will write again to the minister. A minister is a top government leader. They want the minister to know about train safety. People in Florence felt scared. The trains almost had a very bad crash. But in the end, nobody got hurt.
