Three typhoons are near Japan now. A typhoon is a very big, strong storm with wind and rain.

Typhoon No. 18 is one of them. It will get very strong on September 24. It may come close to Okinawa's main island on September 26.

Because of Typhoon No. 18, more rain may fall on the south coast of Honshu. Honshu is Japan's biggest island. The sea near the Pacific coast may also have big waves.

Typhoon No. 20 is another storm. People are worried it may bring a linear rainband. This is a long line of storm clouds that makes very heavy rain in one place.

The typhoons are already changing flights. All Nippon Airways (ANA) has already cancelled 119 flights. These flights will not fly for three days, starting September 25.

This news is from 7:30 p.m. on September 23. People near the coast should watch the weather news carefully.
