Spain's weather services gave a warning today. They said heavy rain will fall in the east of Spain. The rain can also hit the Balearic Islands. This includes Catalunya and the Comunidad Valenciana.
The warning comes from Aemet and Protección Civil. Aemet is Spain's weather agency. Protección Civil is the group that protects people in emergencies. They said the rain will be very strong.
The rain and storms will continue from today until next Monday. There is a danger of flash floods. Flash floods happen very fast after heavy rain.
Nine regions of Spain are on alert. Five of these regions have an orange alert. Orange alert means the danger is high. People must be careful.
There will also be big waves in Galicia. Galicia is in the northwest of Spain. The storms are affecting many parts of the country.
