SpaceX Bandwagon-5 Launch May Create 'Space Jellyfish' Over Florida
Listen to the story
SpaceX is a company that builds rockets. It plans a new launch called Bandwagon-5. A launch means sending a rocket into space.
The rocket will fly from Florida. People in Central Florida may see something strange in the sky. Experts call it a 'space jellyfish.' This happens when rocket exhaust spreads out in the air. Exhaust is the gas and smoke from the rocket engine.
The shape can look like a jellyfish glowing in the dark sky. This happens high in the atmosphere. The atmosphere is the air around Earth.
The news also talks about the International Space Station, or ISS. The ISS is a big station where astronauts live and work in space. A photo project called APOD shows pictures of space every day. APOD means 'Astronomy Picture of the Day.'
People in Florida may be able to see both the rocket launch and the ISS moving across the sky. This is an exciting event for people who love space and astronomy. Astronomy is the study of stars, planets, and space.
