Solar Shutters: A New Trend in Home Renovation
Listen to the story
Many homes now use solar shutters. These shutters use the sun for power. They do not need wires from the house.
Roller shutters cover windows. They go up and down. Today, most new shutters have a motor. A motor moves the shutter for you.
Before, people moved shutters by hand. Now, a button or remote can do it. Solar shutters make this even easier.
A solar panel sits on the shutter. It catches sunlight. This gives power to the motor. People do not need to add new wires in the wall.
This is good for old houses. Adding wires can be hard and costly. Solar shutters are simpler to install.
More people now choose solar shutters when they fix up their homes. It is becoming a new trend in renovation.
