Small Petrol Stations Say They Can't Lower Fuel Prices Yet
Listen to the story
Fuel prices are going down in France.
Some prices can fall by up to 21 cents.
But small petrol stations have a problem.
Francis Pousse works for a group called Mobilians.
He says small stations did not get special fuel stocks.
These are called strategic stocks.
Without these stocks, small stations cannot lower their prices.
Big stations can lower prices more easily.
This makes things unfair for small stations.
There is also a problem with diesel prices.
Diesel prices should fall on November 1st.
But November 1st is a public holiday in France.
This holiday could delay the price drop.
Drivers may need to wait longer to pay less.
