Autumn is not here yet in southern Italy. There will be a short spell of bad weather first. Then the sun will come back.

The city of Bari will get rain and wind. This will last for the next 24 hours. It is a new wave of bad weather.

People call this kind of weather a perturbation. It brings clouds, rain, and strong wind.

After this, the bad weather will stop. There will be a few last rains. Then nice weather will return.

From Tuesday, a high-pressure system called an anticyclone will come back. This brings calm and dry weather.

The climate will also become mild again. This means warm but not hot weather.

So the real autumn weather must wait a little longer. For now, people in the area will see sunshine again soon.
