The weather office has given an orange alert for Chhattisgarh and Odisha. This means heavy rain will fall there soon. People should be careful.

In Delhi-NCR, it rained a lot on Sunday morning. People called it a 'rainy Sunday'. Water filled the streets in many areas. This is called waterlogging.

The India Meteorological Department, or IMD, gave a big weather update. It said 17 states will get heavy rain soon. This rain will come within 8 hours.

The IMD also said wind will blow very fast. The wind speed will be 65 kilometres per hour. Fast wind and heavy rain can be dangerous.

People in these states should stay safe. They should check the weather news every day. The IMD will keep giving new updates about the rain.
