Elon Musk owns a company called SpaceX. SpaceX has a service called Starlink. Starlink uses satellites to give internet to phones.

Now SpaceX wants to make a phone network in the United States. An investor named Gene Munster says Musk will "eventually" make a phone too. "Eventually" means "at some time in the future."

Munster says the Starlink phone network could be a big problem for Apple and Samsung. Apple and Samsung make most phones people use today.

SpaceX is buying spectrum across the whole country. Spectrum is special space in the air used to send phone signals. Companies need spectrum to run phone networks.

This news hurt phone companies. Verizon is a big U.S. phone company. Its stock had its worst day since 2002. A stock is a small part of a company that people can buy.

Investors are worried that SpaceX will take customers away from companies like Verizon. This shows how much Musk's plans can change markets.
