A woman called Maricarmen will go back to her home in Madrid. She had a problem with her flat before. The company Urbagestión owns the building. Her representatives talked with the company. They made an agreement. Now Maricarmen can live in her flat again.
The Madrid mayor, Almeida, helped with the talks. He worked between Maricarmen's side and the owners. This help is called intermediation. It helped both sides agree.
The agreement says something important about money. Maricarmen's rent will not be more than 30% of her net income. Net income means the money she gets after taxes. This rule will last for eight years.
This news is good for Maricarmen. She can return to her own home. The deal protects her from paying too much rent. Many people in Madrid worry about high rent prices.
