This year’s World Scout Jamboree in South Korea will leave their campsite earlier than planned because of a typhoon that’s expected to hit the country soon.

The South Korean government told the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) that everyone had to leave the campsite in Buan, which is in the southwest of the country.

The government is helping the scouts find safe and comfortable places to stay. They will use schools and other government buildings in the Seoul area for accommodation. The government also says that the scouts can continue their events after moving.

43,000 scouts from 158 countries have attended the event this year.

The jamboree has had problems since it started. There was a strong heatwave which made many people sick, sanitation problems, heavy rain, and rotten food.

Before the events started, some worried about bringing many young people to the site. It’s a big, open area without trees, and no protection from the sun or summer heat.

The British, American, Australian, and Singaporean scouts decided to leave the campsite early because of the problems and typhoon.

Despite these issues, many scouts were having a good time. The WOSM says that only a few participants were very unhappy with their experience.

The scouts will leave the campsite in stages, starting on Tuesday at 10 A.M. They will be transported in more than 1,000 buses, and the police and rescue teams will be there to help.
